Aptora Mobile II 6.1.2.0 Release Notes

When updating, please stop the Internet Information Services (IIS) website for Aptora Mobile II prior to running the Mobile Configuration Utility. Make sure that users clear the cache on the browser and/or the Aptora Mobile II application. This is the best practice with any website update to prevent conflicts with website code changes. If you are not logged into the mobile server and the computer/network administration, please right click on the Mobile Configuration Utility and run as administrator.
Enhancements
- Moving forward, the audit trail date and times will now reflect the time zone specified within the Application Settings page.
- If an Earning Item wasn’t selected when creating a new Timesheet, the application will now attempt to add the Default Earning Item to the Timesheet. Previously it would send back a message saying that the Earning Item was required.
- Confirmation Email Security:
- Settings: Send Automatic Confirmation security permission was removed entirely.
- Settings: Confirm Setup Message
- List permissions were removed, as it wasn’t being used.
- We renamed this feature to Automated Email > Confirmation
- List Permission was removed, and users will now always have access to the Automated Email Settings for their Account
- Thank You Email Security:
- Settings: Send Automatic Thank You security permission was removed entirely
- Settings: Thank You Setup Message
- List permissions were removed, as it wasn’t being used.
- We renamed this feature to Automated Email > Thank You
- List Permission was removed, and Users will now always have access to the Automated Email Settings for their Account
- Reminder Email Security:
- Automated Email: Reminder was added for Edit Permission.
- We renamed this feature to Automated Email
- Will now distinguish between Work Orders and Multi-day Work Orders, previously if the object was a Multi-day it would place the Parent Work Orders information in the Email.
- Confirm Email:
- Will now include the To Name and To Email placeholders (merge fields) on the page.
- Enabled TLS as a protocol to the email service
Added DBA (Doing Business As)
We added a DBA selection, just like you see in Total Office Manager, located at Company > Lists > DBA List. The DBA feature was designed to allow your company to generate invoices and other documents using alternative (DBA) information. This is handle when you have different locations, branches, or divisions.
The DBA selector will be found on Invoice Settings, Estimate Settings, Work Order Settings, and Purchase Order Settings. This will allow you to change the DBA prior to printing and emailing.

Fixes
- Multi-day work orders were sending the Parent technician information on the automated emails. Ticket #23344
- When adding a timesheet manually, the hours weren’t being rounded to the hundredths identical to Total Office Manager. They do now. Ticket #22969
