Mobile II Version 6.1.1.0

Aptora Mobile II 6.1.1.0 Release Notes
Release Date: 4/13/2020

When updating, please stop the Internet Information Services (IIS) website for Aptora Mobile II prior to running the Mobile Configuration Utility. Make sure that users clear the cache on the browser and/or the Aptora Mobile II application. This is the best practice with any website update to prevent conflicts with website code changes. If you are not logged into the mobile server and the computer/network administration, please right click on the Mobile Configuration Utility and run as administrator.

Enhancements

  1. The application will now send out text messages after changing the work order’s Status. This will also work for changing a multi-day work order status. Previously, this was only designed to happen when using the work order Stopwatch feature.
  2. Text Messages can now include image attachments with the Enroute, Working, and Thank You texts. Please click here for messaging rates and setup information.
    • Please Note: We don’t plan to add images to the Daily Reminder text feature. We will be adding the current email system to the Daily Reminder system. This will allow you to send email instead of text messages. Those emails will include the image option.
  3. Work Orders on the My Work Order page that are for a later date than the current date will be highlighted in light blue.

Fixes

  1. Automatic Emails weren’t always being sent out when creating an invoice from a work order when that work order was also marked as completed.
  2. Work Orders were displaying the Created Date rather than the Work Order Date when sending an email or PDF. Ticket #23146
  3. Total Office Manager’s Invoice Bill To preferences were being overwritten when editing a mobile work order.
  4. Calendar View settings have been removed and will now display all types of Views. We removed the ability to decide which view options are included. Now, we show all of them. We suspect this preference was causing at least one user problems.
  5. We removed the ability to hide buttons and or text on the Navigation Bar. These are the there buttons at the bottom of the screen. This was done to fix a display problem that some users reported.
