Database Update

Bug Fixes and Fine Tuning

  1. Fixed an issue when using the alternative SMTP emailer to email a payment receipt it is not adding a contact log when this option is selected. Ticket TSM-00005
  2. Fixed an issue were priority (work order) on the planned maintenance form is not following the preference for default Priority for work order. Ticket 26578
  3. Corrected the memory issues causing the 941 report to not print the proper page layout. Also increased year selection to 2021. Ticket CSM023
  4. Updated the phone number on Premium Features. Ticket CSM044
  5. Corrected issue when you have the print option “Include Work Order User-Define fields” selected and print multiple work orders user-defined fields from each work order appear on every work order. Ticket 26410
  6. The “Include Sub Departments on Income Statement by Department-wide” option was not functioning as described by the tooltip. Ticket 26094

  14. Fixed an issue that prevented the YS Auto Error Submit to stop working.

New Features and Enhancements

  1. Added a system called Work Order Locations which allows uses to create work locations that are not part of the normal parent/child setup. These locations do not require an address. Locations also allow for specific payroll taxes to that location. This feature was in beta. Additional improvements were made from the initial release under the same ticket number.   2. We now use a “Go” button to search lists. We replaced the timer delay preference with a Go button that initiates the search. Feature Request Ticket JL252
  3. The Budget Import from MS Excel now ignore rows with no account number. This allows users to add additional lines for sub-totals, totals, notes, and more. You will be able to format your import to look more like an income statement. Feature Request JL273
  4. Added Security for No Invoice/Sale Required on a work order. To be able to check this box on WO, the user will have to be granted permission. If they have edit work order permission now, they will have permission to use this feature by default. The permission is in User Security, Company section, under the Work Order List option.   5. Added Work Order to the Bills and Item Receipt import feature. Feature Request
  6. When performing an Export to Excel or Open in Excel action on the Customer:Job list, that event is now recorded to Audit Trail. Feature Request Ticket JL282
  7. Made general improvements to the new (beta) credit card UI and other improvements. Ticket JL276
  8. Added our standard Security Label to paychecks. Feature Request CSM
  9. We added the ability to include Labor Minutes to the Zone Pricing premium feature. This allows users to create up to ten different labor times for each item and optionally set that as a default per customer or job. Ticket 25859
  10. The Preferences > Company Preferences > Hide Columns that Significantly Slow List Performance button will not uncheck the “Out of Stock Serialized Items: field on the Invoice list. Unchecking this can increase performance significantly. Note: The Invoice list includes a column called “Out of Stock Serialized Items”. This field indicates when a serialized item was sold, and a serial number was not entered. There is a preference to allow this.
  11. Improved Bills form sizing. Ticket CSM033
  12. Made changes to improve clarity on the Item History report for Unit of Measure (UOM) items.
  13. We made some label and field changes to help clarify Unit of Measure. Item History Report UOM items – QTOH looks at UOM total QTY and the QTY field was labeled Tran QTY
  14. We now include all columns to be shown for new users, by default, on the Vendor Bill form (expense and item tab). Feature Request Ticket CSM036
  15. Made sure that modal forms related to the Tools > Utilities form open on the correct monitor. This makes them easier to notice and locate. Ticket JL283
  16. Added tooltips to the Status Bar. This includes one that explains how SOM Reminders get there.
  17. Sent MS SQL Version to error log database
  18. Made sure the Warranty Dates on Equipment match the Invoice and Sale warranty dates. Feature Request Ticket CSM041

  20. Added a WO# Column to PO Tab in Customer History form. Feature Request Ticket CSM030
  21. Added a new preference to exclude the Balance field found on the Customer History. Excluding the Balance field will allow the form to open faster for many users. This is located at Edit > Preferences > Customer:Jobs > Show Balance on Sales Tab in the Customer History Form.
  22. Improved sorting of Service Agreements on the Invoice, Sale, Estimate, and Credit forms. We changed the default sort on the drop down for the Service Agreement field to sort descending by the Ends date.  It was grouping by the agreement Type then by Begins column.  When a customer has a lot of agreements, they had to scroll to the bottom to locate the most current record.
