Currently the Asset Disposed Date defaults todays date. If for whatever reason you sell an asset like a Truck you may not record the sale the actual date you sell it. For example we had a vehicle that we sold this year at the end of December. We did not record the day the transaction took place due to holidays and such. But needed to be disposed in 2020. When we went to mark disposed it could not be recorded in the year sold. This can be a big deal for tax purposes. Perhaps there could be a admin password requirement or permission given for this type transaction but NEED BAD.
