It would be nice to add integration for the use of Square. Square does not need a “Gateway”, therefore it would need to be integrated thru the Aptora software with API.

Hello Kristy. We looked into them once before. They were expensive though (fees were high). We decided against doing the work because of their high rates. Do you mind sharing the rate you pay? Is it street rate or did you get a better offer? We were able to get much lower rates through regular processors. Thanks for the post.
James, I will post the fees below. We don’t pay any PCI compliance fees, particular cards fees or an add on fee for a gateway processor. The fees I am posting are flat fees, which come out cheaper than using any other merchant services that I have found.
Invoices 2.9% + $0.30 each (Emailed out of Square | We can also text the invoices)
Keyed in Manually 3.0% + $0.15 each (This can be done by us in the online Virtual Terminal or the POS)
Dipped 2.55%
Of course, it is ideal to dip the cards. We have been using Square since 2011. It has worked great for us. The only thing missing is getting it to integrate with Aptora.
