Would like to see the development of a dedicated inventory count module (in a lightweight or mobile version) – whereby you can scan a part using a bar code scanner (or search for it by name, category, subcategory, sales description, etc.), it pulls it up in Aptora, and you can add your physical count for that part and warehouse. Then Aptora would compare the physical count quantity with the on hand system quantity, create an adjustment to review, and post.

For good internal controls, it could allow two individual counters to count the same part, flag any input differences where the counted quantities entered do not match, flag for a recount, and only propose the adjustment when all count inputs are matched – this would have to be a preference since not every company counts inventory or uses two independent counters.
