  1. Hello Shawn,

We didn’t include reimbursables on work orders because WOs are not transactions. There is no way to be “reimbursed” from a work order.

QUESTION: What are you trying to do with reimbursibles on a work order?

Question for Other Users: Does anyone else need this ability?

  2. The only reason I can think of wanting to put reimbursables on the work order is because it would allow the technician to see the charges before the invoice is made. Also, if you put it on the work order it will get copied to the invoice if you include items. We do our best to make sure the work order is just like the invoice. We have all our techs upload the job pictures to the work order, put all the parts used on the job on the work order. I think if they do all the work on the work order when the make the invoice the only thing that should be left is to get a signature and collect payment.
